Mario takes us from high school where playing baseball would help his football career through college and being drafted in the NFL draft and playing for the Patriots. He once referred to himself as the worst high school football payer in history. We also discuss various topics such as what the #12 meant to him as well as how Tom Brady who later wore the #12 inspired him. Mario shares a story about the  NFL combine and how his agent bringing the wrong size cleats affected his being drafted later than expected. Mario also looks back on playing for coach  Bill Parcells and shares a couple of great stories as well as being in a locker between Drew Bledsoe and Scott Zolak and took a ribbing regarding their paychecks. We close the podcast with Mario discussing how he went from living in his car which as he admits was ego driven to becoming a motivational speaker and helping educate on financial literacy.
